I am pleased to announce that I have achieved Certification as an Inbound Marketing Specialist, as designated by E-marketing industry leader: HubSpot. HubSpot is not just a highly regarded brand and industry leader, it is marketing software. In fact, it’s an entire methodology – and this certification is relevant exclusively to Inbound Marketing.
The training consisted of 12 classes each accompanied by fantastic study materials. Everything was intuitively segmented with engaging videos and downloadable resources. It was a great refresher for me in areas of search engine optimization (SEO), blogging, landing pages, lead nurturing, conversion analysis, and reporting – all of which combined form the Inbound Marketing strategy.
The certification itself was 60 questions, and an 80% or higher is a passing grade. (I scored 90%) and, why not 100%? Some of the questions were tough, and though provoking – always great to have a challenge.
I enjoyed the HubSpot perspective on the inbound marketing methodology – how to use Inbound to attract visitors, convert leads, close sales, and delight customers – and am now better positioned to offer this expertise to clients.
